"You can kill the dreamer, but never the dream"

http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/story/CTVNews/20060309/whistleblower_prison_060316/20060316?hub=CTVNewsAt11

This quote is what I am reminded of when I think of
"Majed Al Shafie, a victim of torture and founder of the human rights organization One Free World." I also think of Paul, and many martyrs. And of course, Martin Luther King jr.

Majed Al Shafie He spoke today at Osgoode Law School about the 200 million Christians who are being persecuted right now for being active in their faith. Majed was one of them, to the point where he was tied to a cross during an interrogation.

I guess it makes our suffering for being politically incorrect on campus sound like a cake walk.

"But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, that that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you...If you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name...So then, those who suffer according to God's will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good"

1 Peter 4: 13,14, 16, 19

**Majed accepted Christ into his life and decided to write a book about the difference between Islam and Christianity...this was not the proper thing to do where he lived.

Wanting to learn and hoping

I was wondering if any one would be willing to teach me how to play the guitar like some worship songs and I would teach them spanish, I have teaching experience ;I have been a T.A . for about a year now. Well let me know if any one is willing. Or I could just pay some one, either way I would like to learn. Hope some one out there is willing.

hi every one

Okay so I dont know how to start this but here it goes. I can see that alot of you ladies and guys are hyped up for the trip , im glad to see that. So im going to introduce my self , Name is Matthew Silva, study political science concentration international affairs, and in 4rth year so im almost done yay! for me. Have only lived in Ottawa for 5 years , before that I lived a year in Houston, Texas, USA and before that for 20 years in Mexico.

I do not know about any one else but I am worried about the support raising, I have had some people respond but I am still worried to a point. And yet I know that God will do exactly what he wants for me. So I would ask for prayers and Ill be praying for all of you. And apart from the prayer I would have to say best of luck in the papers and exams that you will be having soon. So apart from this I have no idea of what else to write. Hope to see you all soon and to hear from you, take care and tons of love to you all , your brother in Christ.
